Fantsuam Foundation has been at the forefront of advocacy for affordable access for un-connected rural communities in Nigeria. It was one of such advocacy efforts that earned Fantsuam a grant from the regulator for the establishment of a Community Communication Centre. The Fantsuam Centre was among the surviving and thriving centres.

b. The Dynamic Coalition for Community Networks (DC3). Theresa Tafida, a staff of Fantsuam, was awarded an ISOC CN Champions fellowship to attend an immersive international training programme on Community Networks (CNs) scheduled from October 30 to November 12, 2018

c. Fantsuam is also a member of the Internet Society Community Networks SIG, CNSIG. The CNSIG serves as a vehicle through which Community Networks from around the world can develop, strengthen and promote the Community Network model, draft common strategies, share experiences and expertise, debate policy and regulatory issues and present their view
